Each year SPARK produces two fully choreographed dance concerts in a modern theatre, showcasing a
variety of styles!

Dance classes and instruction in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Millersville,
Crownsville, Annapolis, Severna Park, Odenton, Arnold, Arden, Herald Harbor, Sherwood
Forest, Gambrills, Glen Burnie; diverse curriculum of dance instruction and performances
include ballet, pointe, tap, modern, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical dance, Broadway,
voice and singing lessons, physical conditioning classes including Pilates and
yoga, and choreography work. We also sponsor Experiences of an American Girl activities
including skits, doll crafts, and period dances. Skill levels range from
beginner to intermediate with some advanced level. Age ranges covered include
young child, children ages 7 to 11, preteen, teen, and adult. Classes are taught
at Historic Baldwin Hall Millersville, MD. Dance concert performances and recitals
are produced in the winter (including excerpts from The Nutcracker) and at the end
of Spring, and are usually performed at Chesapeake Arts Center in Brooklyn, MD.
Special events include master classes by instructors from STEPS NYC, the Burn The
Floor Dance Festival, student choreography showcases, and summer dance camps. Main
instructors include Amy Rink, Charlotte Baron, Babette McGeady. Dancer portraits
and performance videos are available to participants at discounted rates.
